Terms Of Hire at Serenity:
1) We will provide subject to availability /the garments detailed on your order.
2) In exceptional circumstances including events out of our control, we reserve the right to substitute garments for a suitable alternative and/or sizes to which have been ordered. Chest +/- 2", Waist +/- 2", length +/- 1" and shoes +/- a half size.
3)The actual hire is deemed to commence at 9 am on the stated hire date.
4)Goods are hired to the customer on the condition that they shall be returned undamaged and on or before the return date.. Good lost will be charged to the customer at their selling price not their hire price.
5)All garments are cleaned and launderd thoroughly between hires. This may occasionally lead to slight shade differences between garments.
6)Booking: a) The customer must return to the shop four weeks before the wedding to be remeasured, especially if sizing has changed since the original measurement.b) It is the customers reponsibility to check all orders are correct before leaving the store. We always recommend trying a l garments in store before collection is arranged. c)If you are travelling early to a function, the function date must be the date you are available to try the garments on instore. d)Children must be remeasured 4 weeks before the function to allow for changes and growth. e)Late orders may be accepted subject to availability. e) Group bookings: Each member must collect their garments from the store they have placed their order at.
7)Ordering: The deposit is 50% of the total of the order. Once placed, the deposit is non refundable after 7 days. The balance will be invoiced for payment 4 to 6 weeks before the date of the function. All garments must be paid for in full before leaving the store.
8)Cancellation: In addition to your order, you may be subject to a cancellation charge of £50 when cancelling your hire order. If cancelling more than 1 week before dispatch, there will be no additional charge. If canceling within 1 week and up to 48 hours before dispatch there will be a 50% charge (£25.00) and if cancelling within 48 hours of dispatch the full charge of £50 will be applicable.
9)Extended hire is available on the majority of garments and is subject to availability. It is chrged on top of your order at an additional 10% of your order per day. Late returns are alaos subject to this charge aith an additional courierer fee of £6.00 if our garment collection is missed.
10) All garments, suit hire bags,hat boxes and hangers must be returned to the branch where the order was placed. The garments will be checked on return, so please ensure you have plenty of time and have allowed for this when the suits are being returned.Failure to adhere to this may incur charges for lost garments.
This contract is governed by English Law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction.
